Our Biometric Access Control System (BACS) is a customizable storage solution that secures long weapons, handguns, night vision goggles, evidence and other law enforcement equipment. Storage is available as locker units and gun racks to accommodate a wide variety of items.

Both the locker units and gun racks employ photo electric sensors to monitor asset presence. Stored items carry discreetly placed chips that allow for monitoring. Entry and access to the storage products is granted to authorized officers, which frees supervisors and saves time. In other words, officers can handle their own weapons and equipment check in and check out in just a few moments. They do not have to waste time waiting in lines at the beginning or end of each shift.

The most obvious benefits here are the time saved when multiple officers begin a shift and the freedom gained by supervisors to handle other tasks without sacrificing peace of mind or security. Perhaps the biggest benefit is asset control and management. Departments are no longer forced to make out illegible logs or spend hours on weapons reports. We have customized American Locker’s PEACH/E-CBU product and worked with them on the Hi Tech Checkout System and Hi Tech Rifle Rack to handle these important functions.

As soon as the products are in place every transaction and event is monitored and logged. All related logs are maintained by the system. The system eliminates the worry and safety concerns of missing equipment in a busy environment. Our BACS system uses fingerprints instead of forms to increase individual officer accountability and overall agency credibility. Particularly in legal defense settings, meticulous records about weapon or equipment history are critical and can make a difference in the case being considered.

It is important to us that American Locker is synonymous with lock integrity. Working together we are able to offer our clients locker and rack systems that use a wireless, three-tier security verification with data encryption. The proprietary key system developed and used by American Locker offers unmatched security.
